Offering pipe relining and plumbing services to households, businesses, body corporates, shopping centres and building contractors. Over 10 years of professional and efficient plumbing ‘service with a smile’.
We save our clients money by offering fast, sustainable, long-term solutions to age-old problems.
At Absolute Plumbing, we treat the source and not the symptom. Unlike many other company’s we use our experience combined with the latest and best in technology to target and crunch the source of your drain and pipe problems. We are a team dedicated to providing you with excellent customer service experience.
Knowing the current condition of pipelines is essential for maintaining wastewater and stormwater network systems. We offer a comprehensive, technical and environmentally-friendly solution to pipeline inspection.
CCTV pipe inspection cameras allow our Pipe Relining Cape Town team to video inspect the inside of stormwater and drain pipes, as well as identify problem areas like cracks, breaks and blockages without damaging the pipe. They record the inspection for reporting purposes.
Using a range of different specialist drain cameras, built for drain diagnostics of pipes ranging from 50mm to 300mm, we are able to provide accurate maps of which identify the location of any section of pipe which has lost integrity or which poses as a possible loss in the future.
In combination with a sonde attached to the back of the camera head, our drainmen are able to accurately predict the location and depth of your wastewater system.
Find out exactly what is happening in your waste, sewer or stormwater drains without having to excavate.
Our high-resolution CCTV drain cameras provide the most accurate and cost-effective methods of determining the condition and status of all sewer and stormwater drains
Easily Identify Blockages:
A CCTV pipe inspection will easily identify blockages, breaks, misaligned joints, root infestation and the general condition of the drain itself.
* Make informed decisions quickly
* Identify and repair only affected and/or damaged areas
* Cameras are mobile, easy & quick to deploy
* Cost-effective with radical results
* Track and trace underground networks
* What we can see, we can fix!
* Inspect! Any drain, any place and any time!
Using Sonde locating equipment Pipe Relining Cape Town finds unmarked pipelines running under buildings as well as manholes that have been built over. The teams identify where the pipeline starts and ends as well as how deep the pipeline runs underground.
Due to the ever-changing landscape of our city, municipal information is often outdated, which can make finding a pipe or manhole difficult.
We use a transmitter and receiver to identify lost or built over manholes or pipelines. We also utilise it to pinpoint exactly where a blockage is located quickly and accurately, allowing us to know what lies beneath the surface without having to excavate the area, which makes to less physical damage and faster repairs.
The real benefit lies in the advantage of being able to pinpoint the exact position of the problem from above the ground without having to excavate.
Introducing pipe relining, the ‘no-dig’ solution to repairing and renewing broken sewers. Innovative, Trenchless, Non-Invasive Technology.
What Is Pipe Relining:
Pipe relining attempts to repair your pipes by curing them from the inside using a special resin, which cures with time to form another strong (in some cases, even stronger than the original) pipe.
In this method, the resin is the key to curing the pipe. A resin-saturated felt tube made out of a suitable material (generally polyester or fibreglass) for resin impregnation, is inserted into a damaged pipe. This resin then hardens and forms another pipe within the damaged pipe.
The insertion takes place from an access point which is upstream, inserting from a downstream access point is possible, but it is riskier and hence avoided.
Depending on your specific pipe rehabilitation needs, we offer cured in place lining, UV lining, inversion lining, barrier and epoxy coating.
We rehabilitate pipes ranging from 75mm – 1500mm in diameter, and we offer several choices when addressing the tricky art of dealing with junctions.
From stack pipes, collapsed lines underground or beneath concrete, there is nothing too big for us to handle.
Cutting Edge Technology:
A cutting edge technology that repairs restores and renews the inner walls of deteriorated and/or failing water pipes or drainage systems. It’s a lifetime solution that is saving our clients time and money.
No Need For Digging:
Trenchless pipe restoration solutions mean we can replace your drain pipes without the need for digging/chopping or breaking any area. This makes relining a more cost-effective and less intensive method than traditional ‘dig and replace’ pipe repair methods.
Reline Any Pipe Type:
We can reline any pipe sizes ranging from 75mm to 1500mm. A breakage from just a few millimetres to a foot in length is easily relined with our state of the art equipment.
Reline All Types:
Types of pipes include PVC, mild steel, cast iron, earthenware, HDPE, plastic and more.

Problems with blocked drains? Grease, sludge, sand and debris are the main causes of commercial drain line blockages. Pipe Relining Cape Town can assist.
The beast of a machine will effectively clean any sewer or stormwater drain ranging from 50mm to 200mm in diameter
Cost-effective and efficient in its cleaning capacity as it jet cleans its way through pipes at a pressure of 220psi.
Variety Of Nozzles:
A variety of cleaning nozzles, spinners and chains that allow us to tackle and clean fat, sand, debris or root infested drains.
Drain Clearing Using A Miller:
We clear debris and tree roots from wastewater systems and stormwater lines using a range or technological marvels.
We make use of the Miller Tools to grind away even the most stubborn drain blockages.
Our tools restore the inner surface of the pipe to its original condition, so that we may rehabilitate the pipeline in a way that ensures the minimum change in pipe diameter. This ensures the best flow rate after we have rehabilitated your pipework.
This family of high-speed drain cleaning equipment features superior grinding, cutting & drilling capabilities thanks to the latest improvements in chain cutting technology which allows for carbide tipped chains to spin through any drain at 2100 revolutions per minute.
- Our drain clearing rotary machines can clear out pipelines of all sizes
- These machines are used for both extraction purposes
- We have both small type rotary machines for waste lines and larger type rotary machines for larger diameter pipelines.
- There are many various heads we have which are used for different applications to extract waste, solid items or growth matter from pipeline systems.
Root intrusion is a major cause of problematic underground pipework – we drill, chop and grind all root growth within the piping system, coupled with our CCTV inspection system guarantees that all problems are identified and repaired within the piping system.
We utilise cutting edge rotary and cable equipment to access, breakdown and remove complex root-logged systems without compromising the existing plumbing structures. This allows us to remove blockages quickly and effectively.
High speed, high-pressure drain cleaning is a term reserved for the industry elite. These machines have but one purpose, “Destroy and Remove”.
The equally feared cousins of this drain cleaning family are giants in their own right, and just as powerful too. These dynamic high pressure, hydro jet cleaners use a science called “Fluid Dynamics” to perfectly engineer, direct and concentrate 220psi jet flow into the drain, ensuring maximum results, every time.
Do you often hear the sound of dripping or running water in your home or office when all water points have been turned off? Has your water bill risen without cause? Does your water meter dial turn even when all your taps have been turned off? If you answer yes, then you will need Absolute Plumbing to conduct a leak detection at your property.
This device is used in walls, floors and roof spaces to identify hot water leaks. It is a hand-held device and allows the viewer to view heat on a camera.
Used to detect the sound of running water in walls and ground.
Gas leak seeking machine
Hydrogen gas is pumped through your pipe system and a ‘snooper’ picks up a leak by detecting the exiting gas and pinpointing your leak.
Once our leak detection is complete, we will provide you with a free quote for repairs, and a plumbing report for your insurance or local council as proof of a concealed leak.
Did you know?
* A leaking toilet can waste up to 340’687 L of water in one month.
* According to the City of Cape Town, 37% of South Africa’s water supply is lost through leaks across many cities.
* One small hole in a metal pipe can leak up to 9’463 L in 24 hours.
* All water, drainage and sewerage piping in a household, factory or office block has a shelf life. Galvanised and Polycop pipe (frequently used in Cape Town buildings) are no longer used due to their poor quality and susceptibility to leaks, cracks and bursts.
